July is going to be an exciting month for Feeding The Fire: first we have the long anticipated Miami Beach installment where we travel to the fun and sun for some fresh-caught game fish, only to land in the middle of a Hurricane. But some herb-encrusted grouper and lemon grass suateed shrimp gets us through the tropical storm.
And we hit the road again this month--this time back to where we started, our hometown of Chicago where we will make up some Buffalo Chicken lasagna at the River Grove fire station and visit Chicago's first "green" firehouse for a meal that is sure to raise the bar in culinary cuisine from the midwest. |
