Feeding The Fire is hosted by twin brothers, both of whom are trained firefighters and recent graduates of Chicago’s famed Second City Improv Institute. As firefighters, they also enjoy immediate and unfettered acces behind the scenes at each new firehouse.

Jim Gatesman is the host of Feeding The Fire. A gastronome of American cuisine with a palate that has been trained over years of disciminating eating, he takes us to a new firehouse each week, to meet another one of America’s bravest cooks, and helps to serve up a regional specialty with his unique style and humor.

Tim Gatesman is our correspondant who offers informative side dishes about America’s heroes. A trained historian, he adds the spice to our program with his sidebars into regional tidbits and information about what makes each department unique.
